Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler the 28th of June, 1986. The young woman had a troubled childhood. Her mother left her at the age of two in order to get out of the abuse of her partner. Pickler returned to her mother in 1995 when she was appointed the custodian. But it didn't go well. Then, when she reached the age of 12 the court returned Pickler to her grandparents who took care of her until she reached adulthood. Pickler with the help of her parents as well as her elder siblings, became too distracted studying. She revealed that she no longer had time to read and began learning the art of being a mom as a child. Pickler played cheerleading in her high and middle schools. North Stanly High School, which she attended from 2004 when she graduated it was her high school. Pickler was also a contestant in a beauty pageant.
