Felicity Jones is a British actress best known for playing the role of Jane Hawking in the critically acclaimed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones has been acting since the age of 12 and has appeared in numerous productions and TV shows. She started her career acting on television in the role of The Treasure Seekers. In The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters, a sequel to The Worst Witch. The character she played was Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. Then, she appeared in a variety of movies. In The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in particular, she made a name for herself in her work. Her role as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything earned her an Oscar nod for the first. Jones received high praise from the public and critics because she played the character of Hawking's wife, in this Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno was the second film she appeared in with Tom Hanks. In the year 2016 the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles announced Jones to be the British Artist of The Year for her talent and contributions to cinema.
